About the University

Founded in 1858 as the birthplace of long-distance learning, the University of London opened global access to higher education and today reaches over 50,000 students across 180+ countries, with alumni including Nobel laureates, heads of state, ministers, renowned authors, judges, academics, and business leaders. In Egypt, it is hosted by the European Universities in Egypt (EUE)—a world-class transnational education hub established by Presidential Decree No. 86 of 2021 in the New Administrative Capital—bringing reputable international universities together to serve the MENA region. EUE currently hosts the University of London, awarding programs under the academic direction of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) among other member institutions by specialization, alongside the University of Lancashire offering multiple Engineering programs. With state-of-the-art learning and research experiences tailored to the needs of Egypt’s emerging economy and global markets, EUE aims to be a novel research hub that nurtures transnational education and drives socio-economic impact across its collaborating markets.
